KidsQuest USA is an outreach ministry of the National Children’s Ministries Agency in partnership with Assemblies of God churches across America. It’s a 3-service kids' event performed using the KidsQuest Kit. A one-day children's ministry training event can also be a part of KidsQuest USA.

The KidsQuest Kit
The kit is a pre-packaged children’s event, complete with scripts, costumes, props, and sound effects. It contains over 500 items that make this kit totally self-contained. It is delivered to the participating church in four Action Packers and 2 hard-shell golf guards. The kit can be purchased from the National Office or rented from either District Offices that own one or individual churches.

The Purpose of KidsQuest USA
The first purpose of KidsQuest USA is to reach kids in America for Jesus. The second purpose of KidsQuest USA is to equip others to reach and disciple children. KidsQuest USA fulfills all three of the primary purposes of the National Children's Ministries Agency—Reaching Children, Developing Leaders, Equipping Churches.

The First Step
The Process of Becoming Involved in KidsQuest USA
If you would like to train your ministry volunteers to conduct an event at your church or in your community, you would first need to attend a district or regional training. Regional one-day training events are occurring in different locations throughout the country. You can also contact your district coordinator to inquire about upcoming training events in your area. In the event that there is not a KidsQuest USA training event in your area, please contact the national KidsQuest USA office for other arrangements.

A Regional Training will give attendees a proper perspective of the event and how it needs to occur. Attending this training will also give you the tools you will need to train your team. Once you have been trained at a district or regional training, you would complete our KidsQuest USA Agreement and Commitment Form that you received at your training. Once you have filled this form out please mail or fax this form back to the national KidsQuest USA office.

Upon approval, you can purchase a KidsQuest USA Starter Pak including a KidsQuest USA event manual and informational CD. The manual contains the entire script, clowning notes, skit notes, game notes, illusion routines, and sound cues. We also recommend purchasing a set of training DVD's, and service background CD's. You will also find information about team shirts, and other resources that will be of great help with training, preparing, and equipping your KidsQuest team.

How to Obtain a KidsQuest Kit
Once you have completed proper training there are two ways to obtain a KidsQuest USA kit. (Note: An Outreach Form must be on file at the national office before a KidsQuest USA kit will be released.)

Method 1: Rent a kit from your district.

If your district owns a kit you can rent it from them. Rental rates and policies vary depending on each district.

  1. Click here for a listing of districts that currently own KidsQuest USA kits.

Method 2: Your church may purchase the kit for $5000.00. The kit then becomes yours. Download a Kit Purchasing Form .

Where to Minister the KidsQuest USA Event
We ask that you perform the event at your home church first. After the event at your church you can then perform the event as an outreach for a church or ministry free of charge. One of the main purposes of KidsQuest USA is for churches to help churches build strong children's ministries across the nation that will impact their community, and impact the lives of children. During the outreach, KidsQuest USA teams are asked to provide training for the children's ministries volunteers in the outreach church. We also ask the KidsQuest USA team to provide mentorship to the host church to ensure success after the event.

Promotional and Follow-up Material
Free full color flyers and posters as well as Powermark Seeker Series comic books are available to Assembly of God churches. Churches of other denominations are welcome to participate in KidsQuest USA but they will be required to purchase promotional material. To order your promotional material you must fill out an "Outreach Form" every time you schedule a KidsQuest USA event.

Hosting a KidsQuest USA Event
If you would like to host a KidsQuest USA event, and are not able to put together a team please contact your District Coordinator or the National Office to connect with teams in your area.

To host a KidsQuest USA event you must provide a location with electrical power, and volunteers to help the team coming to your church or ministry.

Your Responsibility
The only responsibility for the church hosting the KidsQuest team is to secure a suitable location for the event with electrical power available.

Every project will differ slightly. The host missions church may be able to provide meals for the team. The church may be able to place the team members in the homes of their church members. Neither of these are mandatory. They are only suggestions. The children’s pastors will be taking an offering in their home church to cover many of the expenses of this trip. There is no predetermined financial responsibility for the host church.

This will be considered a missions trip on the same lines as an overseas trip. If the event happens outside of your town, your team will need to raise the budget to cover the costs related to it. You can receive Home Missions Credit for all expenses related to the KidsQuest USA event.

The Benefits of Hosting a KidsQuest USA Event
This will be an event that will reach children and families for Christ in your city. KidsQuest USA will train and equip your leaders, and help breathe new life into your children's ministries. You will receive a free follow-up plan for children who accept Christ at the event.

4th, 5th, and 6th Grade and Youth Mission's Trips
Many churches and districts across the nation are also using KidsQuest USA to raise up fourth, fifth, and six grade teams as well as youth teams for stateside missions trips. Please contact our office for more information on how to use KidsQuest USA in this way, and also for ideas on how to put the missions trip together.
